Lebanon welcomes Sardinian food traditions


(AGI) Cagliari, Mar 7- A delegation from the Assadakah Sardegna association and a Sardinian chef will fly to Lebanon to participate in the "Arte culinaria e tradizione in Sardegna e Libano", a festival on culinary art and traditions in both Sardinia and Lebanon. The festival is scheduled to take place in Beirut and Taanayel on March 10 and 11, and has been organised by Assadakah and the Saint Joseph University of Beirut, within the FOOD4MED, Food for Mediterranean Exchange project, which is funded by the EU. On the first day, the Lebanese university has scheduled the launching of a recipe book "FOOD4MED - Cibo e tradizione in Sardegna e Libano" [Food and Traditions in Sardinia and Lebanon], a photo exhibition and a typical food products tasting session. On March 11, the festival will move to Taanayel where, on the premises of the Arc en Ciel NGO, there will be a photo exhibit and a tasting of dishes prepared by Lebanese, Palestinian and Italian chefs.
